All that is important is this one moment in movement. Make the moment important, vital, and worth living. Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused.

The self-conscious self on the other side of the subconscious has a freer hand in the creation of your dreams, since you are the only personality to whom they must be comprehensible. The camouflage world must be dependable, therefore you do not have such individualistic freedom.
Those who have extremely strong hidden self-conscious selves have the need for greater use of individuality, and these people therefore create what could be called another plane in waking hours, through the use of art forms.
In the creation of art forms, both self-consciousnesses are allowed with certain reservations to work together. The subconscious channel between them is allowed to open to a great degree. The product of such merging is extremely individualistic, and yet more comprehensible to others than say a fragment from the dream world.”
…“The act of artistic creation is therefore one to study, since it involves the intricate workings of the dual self-consciousnesses of one personality, inner data being transformed through the subconscious and greater individuality being made possible because of this.
You were quite correct, Joseph, in your feeling that art created another plane, and now let me hit you with this one: that the paintings of an artist to some degree have a consciousness of their own, not imprisoned either by the form itself.”
…“Art creation is a most basic creation then, not even a mimicking act but a genuine creation of another plane, done self-consciously from the perspective of an imprisoning camouflage pattern. Quite an achievement, therefore.”
They attract you because of their instinctive knowledge, and they represent the inner freedom that man is in the process of objectifying on a conscious level. They also remind you of the deep certainty of your creaturehood, and by their flight evoke within you the knowledge that you are leaping from creaturehood into dimensions of actuality you only barely sense.
Their migration is perfect in its simplicity and complexity, yet your journey as a species is far less predictable, opening avenues of probabilities in which your consciousness and free will allows you to become conscious creators in worlds that you initiate and then inhabit.
Almost every child suspects that at one time or another when his eyes are closed his immediate surroundings have disappeared. He supposes that when he does not see a chair the chair does not exist; and my dear friends, the boy in this case is smarter than the man.

When his senses, his outer senses, do not perceive a physical object in his self-perspective (and hyphenate that please), in his self-perspective, the object simply does not exist.
A man who believes life has little meaning quickly leaves life—and a meaningless existence could never produce life.
It seldom occurs that you might be fulfilling your purposes quite beautifully despite all of your convictions-for they are indeed convictions-that you are not doing so, or that in some way or another each of you should be different in important ways than you are.
In the end only three things matter: how you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things that were not meant for you.
For how can you look at yourselves with self-respect, with dignity or with joy, if you believe that you are the end product of forces in which the fittest survive? Being the fittest implies those given most to what would appear to be murderous intent — for you must survive at the expense of your fellows, be you leaf, frog, plant, or animal.
If you want to “discover” how things work, then your journey must eventually lead you into the dimensions that lie within the world you know. You must therefore explore the psyche, the living consciousness. It will lead you to the withinness.
