Mimi Dye Violinist Presents The Inspiration Concert

All are warmly invited to a concert performance on violin by Mimi Dye preceded by Sunday Gathering and potluck dinner.

We will start the morning with Sunday Service (10-11:30am). At 11:30am we will have a Pot Luck Luncheon and then a beautiful Musical Concert by Mimi Dye to follow at 1:45pm.

Please bring a main dish, side or dessert along with your generous Love Donations for her performance.

ALL LOVE DONATIONS from the concert will go to start the fund drive towards new chairs for our sanctuary!

Mimi would like to donate all of her proceeds from this concert to Center of Light!

The Inspiration Concert
Featuring new, original compositions for solo viola and violin. Mimi is renowned for her transcriptions of the Spiritual Songs of Hildegard von Bingen, recordings of classical masterpieces, and her own compositions for solo viola, jazz ensemble, and chamber orchestra.

Her new compositions, featured on this concert, offer a glimpse into the new world and new dimensions we are moving towards.

Sunday Gathering

Each Sunday a new topic of importance to spiritual growth is presented and discussed. The topics draw from a wide range of spiritual philosophies, history, and teachers of metaphysics.

Our non-traditional service includes a mediation and live music.

Drumming Class – Session with Jan Eskridge

For an hour of gratefulness celebrating Thanksgiving please mark your calendar for this fun and meditative class with drums and other percussion type instruments.

Please if you have them, bring your own, Jan also has some to borrow. She has a chart to follow for the beats, so no worries if you have never drummed before. It is a great release, a chance to see friends and make new ones and to support our good friend Jan Eskridge who has drumming classes in Tulsa at other times.

Let’s make her feel welcomed so she will do more classes in the future.

Energy In Motion

Cremona Italy, birthplace of Antonio Stradivari creator of the Stradivarious violin considered to be a high mark of excellence in craftmaship and sound around the world.

Mimi Dye, classically trained viola and violinist, teacher, and Center of Light member is invited to this historical place each year to teach a group of master students and conduct them in performance. She has returned from her work in Cremona this summer with spiritual insights on energy and music to share. The presentation will be supported by a remarkable video performance by Mimi and her students.

This event will be held after Sunday Gathering at Center of Light. So come, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!
